KYOTO HIGH ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY SCHOOL - BEGLES (33)

The future Bègles High School is a creation divided into separate poles: general teaching, fashion professions, bio-industry and water treatment, and medical-social. In addition to the day school, the program includes a boarding school for 200 students, a semi-boarding school with kitchen (1 300 diners), a sports hall (1 100 m²) and 12 job accommodations.
The Aquitaine region wishes to create an environmental window, whereby the new High School qualifies. This is achieved via this environmental approach with High Quality Environmental certification.
Cap Ingelec planned the building to have a zero energy footprint, following the Effinergie conventions. At the heart of the project management team (Ersol Architects, High Quality Environmental Advising Team), Cap Ingelec carried out a complete mission of project management for the following technical works batches (heating, ventilation, electricity), thermal design, the High Quality Environmental section for targets 04 and 09 (thermal dynamic simulations), High Quality Environmental follow-up, as well as complementary missions in Fire safety systems, global cost and verification.
