The CNRS retained Cap Ingelec's services for the installation of piloting equipment for an R&D platform located in the Font Romeu-Odeillo area. The engineering company has added a new string to its bow, this time in the domain of solar thermodynamic concentration. PROMES, one of the CNRS laboratories, has entrusted Cap Ingelec with the prime contractor role for new solar equipment to complete their installations. The aim of the CNRS is to acquire more knowledge in the coming years. This pilot will enable them to test components: mirrors, absorbing tubes, transfer fluids… as well as different types of storage to measure performance. The site also has a teaching vocation. The region's university students will thus be sent to use this test platform.
