AEROPORT DE TOULOUSE BLAGNAC
RUNWAY RENOVATION
Faced with a very low traffic, linked to the coronavirus crisis, Toulouse airport is taking advantage of this to renovate one of its runways, on the Airbus side. The work began on June 22, 2020, for a period of four months…
Sixteen years after the last large-scale renovation of runway 14R32L (also called runway 2, located on the Airbus side), a new complete rehabilitation campaign is starting on the runway as well as on three taxiways (the taxiways allowing aircraft to access the runways) adjacent to it. It represents an investment of 13 million euros (excluding VAT).
These large-scale works, common to all airports, were prepared by ATB teams with the engineering companies Egis Avia, Egis Villes & Transports and Cap Ingelec. They will be carried out by the Eurovia, Socotras and JDC Airports consortium.
Within the framework of this rehabilitation mission, Cap Ingelec has been entrusted with the project management mission including the studies for the renovation of the lighting and associated civil engineering, the realization of an energy assessment of the different lighting solutions, the drafting of the specifications for the LED functions for the ecological transition, the elaboration of the DCE, VISA, DET, AOR and PPC.
For more than 15 years, our teams in Bordeaux and Toulouse have already carried out about twenty projects for Toulouse Blagnac Airport!
