COMMUNE DE JONZAC
Energy audit
With the objective of reducing energy consumption on the scale of its territory, the commune of Jonzac called upon Cap Ingelec to carry out an energy audit and a feasibility study on several of its energy producing or consuming installations.
To do this, the recovery and valorization of fatal energy dissipated within several sites were studied (the “Chaîne Thermale du Soleil” spa fed by geothermal drilling, the “Les Antilles” aquatic complex, the Heurtebise wood boiler room (6 MW) partly feeding the urban heating network and the industrial cold water network (geothermal energy on shallow groundwater) feeding a group of establishments (EHPAD, casino, convention center, hotel, etc.)). Within the framework of this mission, Cap Ingelec carried out a diagnosis of the installations, established the energy consumption profile of the Antilles aquatic complex by consumption item and the production profile of the Heurtebise wood boiler room.
We studied the installation of heat recovery units on the wood boiler room flue gases, studied the implementation of a high temperature heat pump for temperature recovery on the thermal baths waste and studied the implementation of a recovery network between the different sites. These recommendations led to a hierarchy of choices based on a multi-criteria analysis defined with the project owner.
