The engineering school was initially due to move into its new premises at the start of the 2020 academic year, but town planning and environmental protection regulations forced it to change site before Covid took over and postponed the building work. In total, the project was delayed by two years. The ELISA school will train engineers over 5 years and will eventually welcome 600 students. The first phase of the project has been underway since July 2021. It includes the construction of a teaching building and its Agora (reception area), as well as a 5,600 sqm student house. There will also be a multi-sports ground, green spaces and a car park. Delivery is scheduled for the start of the 2022 academic year.
This turnkey project represents an order of 11 million euros and is being monitored by the Bordeaux teams.
