LYCÉE DE BÈGLES
The first “Kyoto” positive energy high school
The Bègles high school is a creation, divided into several poles: general education, fashion trades, bio-industry and water treatment, medical-social. In addition to the day school, the program includes a boarding school for 200 students, a half-board with kitchen (1,300 students), a sports hall, a sports field and 10 staff housing units. The Aquitaine region’s desire is to create an environmental showcase, hence the term “Kyoto high school”. This translates into an environmental approach with HQE certification. Cap Ingelec designed this building so that its energy footprint would be zero, following the Effinergie conventions. Within the project management team (Ersol, Tribu Conseil HQE), Cap Ingelec carried out the basic project management mission for the technical batches, the thermal design, the HQE component, the follow-up of the HQE, as well as complementary missions in terms of SSI, global cost, and inspection.
