Anxious to reduce the energy impact of its activities, the company Air France wished to create a renewable energy production installation on its Valbonne site. Following a study, Cap Ingelec proposed to Air France an innovative project of parking lot shades equipped with photovoltaic panels, allowing them to benefit from the status of producer without suffering the constraints linked to investments. The proposed project was based on a global solution based on a “third-party investor” legal and financial arrangement, combined with a design-build-operate-maintain contract. The entire project was managed by Cap Ingelec and Astris Finance: studies, financing, administrative authorizations, realization, requests for connection to the electrical network, operation… This project, today in operation, is connected to the EDF network and produces 100% renewable energy.
