CRITICAL FACILITIES
DESIGN OF CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURES WITH GUARANTEED PERFORMANCE
DESIGN OF CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURES WITH GUARANTEED PERFORMANCE
Whether it is a question of military bases, airports, ports, government services, industrial sites classified as ICPE and SEVESO, or even tertiary sites, the so-called “Critical Facilities” raise varied problems in terms of security, efficiency and performance.
Cap Ingelec has developed a high level of expertise in these infrastructures which contribute to guaranteeing the continuity of operations and a know-how adapted to the operational constraints of these sites. From the conception to the realization of the work, our teams apply a collaborative and agile engineering, to adapt to the most diverse situations.
In these constrained environments, our technical expertise is particularly recognized in the fields of HV or MV source substations, power plants, battery energy storage, renewable energy connections, frequency conversion plants, dockside ship connections, and also fluid and utility production and distribution facilities (steam, hot/cold, special fluids, etc.)

From technicians to project managers, the Cap Ingelec teams are committed to detailed optimization and control of industrial processes while respecting tight cost/schedule constraints.
Cap Ingelec conceives and realizes critical infrastructures, by providing a multi-site and multi-domain expertise with a transverse and innovative approach. Indeed, an infrastructure is said to be ” critical ” when the continuity of service is primordial and the slightest failure has a direct impact on
Critical infrastructures therefore concern more specifically the production, transport and distribution of energy (gas, petroleum products, electricity), telecommunications, water and food supplies, transport, financial services, health and government services (army, police, judicial services).
At the end of 2019, Cap Ingelec will acquire Exper’Elec, an engineering company specialized in complex electrical networks, in order to reinforce its position in the market of highly technical infrastructures.
Exper’Elec is developing real expertise in high voltage, low voltage and direct current, relying on solid experience. Merged in October 2020 with Cap Ingelec, it carries out turnkey projects, ranging from the design and construction to the maintenance of complex electrical installations. Exper’Elec also provides project management services and assistance to project owners. With this acquisition, Cap Ingelec is reinforcing its technical skills and developing a high added value service offer, with a new centre of expertise in Lyon.
