On Tuesday 21 November, Cap Ingelec was awarded the “Commitment at the heart of our strategy” prize and the “Coup de cœur” prize in the Better Living in the Workplace 2023 awards for its initiatives to improve the quality of life and working conditions within the company.
Awarded by the Institut du Mieux Vivre en Entreprise, the “Commitment at the heart of our strategy” prize was presented by Philippe Jaouen, Projects Director at Malakoff Humanis, to Matthieu Calès, Managing Director and future Chairman of Cap Ingelec, and Franck Vialar, Deputy Managing Director of Cap Ingelec. Created at the initiative of the Rh&M Group, the Better Living in the Working Place 2023 award is designed to recognise and reward companies that are committed to implementing a participative strategy for sustainable well-being within the company. Through their speeches during the ceremony, the directors were able to touch the audience and win the “Coup de Cœur” Trophy.
For Cap Ingelec, 2023 is a year turned towards the future.
These awards recognise the various actions implemented by Cap Ingelec since the launch of its “Serenity Build” strategic plan in 2021, with Cap Ingelec recording strong growth and mobilising all its employees. Faithful to its values and its collaborative culture based on technology, its new roadmap aims to consolidate growth and quality of life at work. Its objective is to develop a multi-faceted performance that embraces all dimensions (technical, human, financial, shareholder and social). Within the next two years, consolidated sales should be in the region of 400 million euros, with around 700 employees.
Since its creation in 1992, the ETI has set itself a committed and responsible course of action towards its employees, customers and suppliers. Every day, Cap Ingelec strives to exercise its economic, social and environmental responsibility through an ambitious HR policy, committed to equal opportunities, diversity and gender diversity. Concrete actions were carried out in 2023: working group on decarbonisation, QVCT survey, CSR day, employee shareholding campaign, a disability plan, selective sorting and “green worksites”, etc.
During the evening, Matthieu CALES said: “We are both very proud and very moved to receive this trophy in recognition of the work and commitment of the entire Cap Ingelec team.”
Initiatives to offer its employees the best possible working environment and conditions.
This strategic plan is also an opportunity to clearly reaffirm that human values, so dear to Cap Ingelec, will continue to be at the heart of its actions and decisions. Numerous actions have been taken in 2022 and 2023, including the introduction of a collaborative tool for sharing initiatives. This tool, which incorporates a process for steering business transformation initiatives, enables the Group to centralise the entire management of participative innovation processes in a completely transparent way. The solution, which will be rolled out in 2022, will enable the entire cycle of ideas, projects and action plans identified in the strategic plan to be managed. Every employee can now participate in the implementation of strategic initiatives.
The comfort, well-being, safety and quality of life of our employees are a major concern for Cap Ingelec, which develops concrete solutions to improve living and working environments. Cap Ingelec is pursuing its dynamic recruitment policy, with more than 60 new employees by 2022 and more than 100 employees by 2023 (30% of whom will be recruited by direct co-option). To facilitate their integration into the Group, “Onboarding” sessions run by the Human Resources Offices are organised several times a year, and personalised communication tools have been developed: welcome pack, welcome booklet, newsletter sent monthly to all employees to keep them up to date with Group news and share all commercial information with them.
Since 2015, a unique internal training programme for young engineers has been in place. The aim of this incubator is twofold: to give them the keys to a better understanding of our businesses, and to help them immerse themselves in the practices and values of our company. More than 120 engineers have taken this in-house training course.
Convinced that diversity and inclusion are strong levers for creativity, innovation and collective performance, Cap Ingelec also pursues a committed policy, promoting equal opportunities and combating all forms of discrimination, as set out in the company’s ethics charter.
In 2017, management decided to open up the company’s capital to all its employees through a Company Savings Plan. Today, 83% of employees are shareholders in the company.
“COUP DE COEUR” AWARD!
“We are touched by this recognition, which confirms our desire to put people at the heart of our strategy,” said Franck Vialar, Deputy Managing Director, at the ceremony.
